Curriculum Overview

The Pfeiffer accounting program builds upon a strong liberal arts foundation. 66 semester hours of accounting coursework incorporates curriculum in finance, corporate governance, auditing and more. The Student Accounting Society provides students with opportunities for volunteering, internships and employment.

At Pfeiffer I made lifelong friendships and gained pertinent knowledge to become successful in my fields of study. I left knowing I would always have a place to return that feels like home.

Hands-On Experience

Through the Student Accounting Society, bachelor of science in accounting majors have opportunities to:

  • Network with potential employers
  • Participate in the Cost Project with the Small Business Center
  • Connect with the Institute of Managerial Accountants and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners
  • Work with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program
