New Student Orientation
New students will attend two different orientations. SOAR (Summer Orientation Advising and Registration) happens in the summer before enrollment. SOAR is a two-day, overnight experience for new students. During SOAR students will go through advising and register for classes. Fall Orientation begins just before the start of each semester and allows new students the opportunity to get acquainted to campus resources and meet new friends.
In addition to the faculty and staff available to help you settle in, there are peer mentors, upperclassmen students who dedicate their time to helping our new students find their way. Peer Mentors facilitate SOAR and Fall Orientation activities and are available to students throughout their first year at Pfeiffer.
New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students including transfers and commuters
