  Several Pfeiffer students brought home awards during the Annual Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) National Leadership Conference held in Anaheim, Calif., June 21-24. PBL is a national association comprised of college and university students who are interested business careers.

  As baby boomers near retirement and the need for healthcare grows, the demand for qualified nurses is steadily increasing. The U.S is in the midst of a nursing shortage that is expected to intensify. Pfeiffer officials announced their collaboration with Stanly Community College (SCC), which will produce more skilled and qualified nurses while helping to meet the increasing demand in the workforce.
