Professional Certificates
As a teacher licensed in Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) education, you will have the knowledge, pedagogical skills, and professional disposition necessary to design and deliver an enhanced curriculum for gifted students.
Upon successfully completing the program, you will qualify for a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) for academically and intellectually gifted licensure.

In Pfeiffer University’s add-on, licensure-only program, rigorous coursework emphasizes trends and issues in gifted education, differentiation strategies, the history of gifted education with implications for the future, and real-world applications. You will be prepared for the unique demands of teaching the advanced learner.
