That is what ChyAnn Ketchum ’18 is discovering about the field of guest relations. She is taking time off this semester from full-time studies and serving as a Pfeiffer Admissions ambassador for a paid internship with Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, as a College Program Cast Member.
On Feb. 17-18, seven Pfeiffer University students competed across two teams and against representatives from 22 North Carolina-based private colleges and universities in the 2017 North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) Ethics Bowl at the Legislative Complex in Raleigh, N.C.
On Feb. 20-21, Pfeiffer University’s Division of Business hosted “The Changing Business Environment,” a conference on the Misenheimer campus featuring business leaders from a variety of fields. Participants included the division’s students and faculty whose majors and areas of expertise spanned business and leadership, accounting, sport management and computer information systems.
