Lea Hilton ’21 of Kannapolis has been volunteering for nonprofits for as long as she can remember. As a Francis Scholar at Pfeiffer University, she received a Francis Service Scholarship, which obligated her to complete 60 service hours each semester.

March 1, 2019 (Misenheimer, N.C.) - Retired NASA Astronaut Joan Higginbotham will address Pfeiffer University students, faculty and staff March 18 at 10:00 a.m. in the Henry Pfeiffer Chapel. The event, which kicks off the institution’s third annual Arts and Sciences Week, is free and open to the public.
