Backpack Awareness Day (Pfeiffer Life)

Floating event 9AM-11AM

Backpack awareness nationally happens in September each year, right when children/youth/students return back to school. With this return back to school comes the carrying of heavy educational items, such as books, notebooks, and lab/learning materials. This event is a service from the Occupational Therapy department and students where Pfeiffer students, faculty, staff & community can come to learn helpful safety tips to stay protected from back pain and possibly injuries that can come from carrying heavy backpacks, bags, and items associated with our everyday educational doings and beings! Earn a Pfeiffer Life credit in Purpose & Career Prep or Mental/Physical/Spiritual Wellness.
