Board of Trustees – Mrs. Raines

Della graduated from Pfeiffer in 1974 with a degree in Biology/Secondary Education. She served thirty-two years as a classroom teacher and eight years as a full-time mentor before retiring in 2012. Della has been a member of Pfeiffer’s Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2015 and served as the Alumni Association President 2017-2019.

Currently Della is the Alumni Association’s President-Elect. She has been active in many activities benefiting Pfeiffer such as reconnecting alumni, leading her class in fundraising initiatives, and establishing the “Coastal Falcons” alumni group. She is also a charter member of Devoted and True. Della lives in Southport, NC with her husband Larry and is the mother of two and grandmother of six.
