Mr. Cameron S. Cruickshank – Huntersville, NC
Cam Cruickshank serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Cabarrus Foundation, where he leads the organization’s work in philanthropy, strategic grantmaking, nonprofit capacity building, and community impact.
Dr. Cruickshank brings more than 30 years of organizational leadership experience, including more than two decades in higher education. He previously served as President of Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, where the institution expanded its academic portfolio, increased enrollment and student diversity, strengthened its financial position, and continued its transition into a comprehensive four-year health sciences college.
His prior leadership roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Madonna University and Vice President for Enrollment Management and Online Education at the University of Toledo. He also has extensive experience working with and serving on governing boards in higher education, healthcare, community service, and the private sector.
Dr. Cruickshank holds degrees from the University of Windsor, Bowling Green State University, Tiffin University, and the University of Toledo. He and his wife, Margarita, have four adult children.
