Dr. Matthew S. Kerlin – Huntersville, NC
Matthew was born in Georgia and grew up in Louisiana. He holds degrees from Louisiana State University (BA Music), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA Theology), Baylor University (PhD. Historical Theology), and Samford University (MBA).
Matthew has worked at Louisiana State University, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Belmont University, The University of Alabama, Samford University, and SouthLake Christian Academy where he has served as Head of School since 2018.
Matthew has been married for 32 years to Jonlyn Robson, an L&D and OBGYN Nurse for more than 20 years. Matthew and Jonlyn have three grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cycling, hiking, and trail running.
