School of Education Majors Club
Get real world experience inspiring and tutoring local students.
Our club’s main focus is servant leadership; all members serve the surrounding community through a variety of opportunities, and upper level students mentor freshmen and sophomores who have declared education as their major.
The School of Education Majors Club participates in service projects at local schools such as:
- Field Days
- History Bowls
- Backpack Pals
- Summer Workbooks
- Kids Zone at homecoming weekend
- EOG Encouragement (donation of pencils to local elementary schools)
- Pendants and notes to alumni
- Night at the Museum
- Bake sale for Relay for Life
- Autism awareness
- Tree of Warmth
- End of the year cookout to honor graduating seniors
The club is also a great place for students to get information about opportunities such as:
- Student teaching
