Curriculum Overview

The bachelor of arts in art degree program brings together a robust liberal arts education with art techniques, historical context, and studio exploration. Students explore concepts ranging from 2D and 3D design, to painting, sculpting, mixed media, digital photography and more.

A capstone course, exhibition, and professional portfolio serve as each student’s senior exit test.

The Studio Art program at Pfeiffer allows for a lot of one-on-one instruction. I was able to find who I am as an artist because of that, giving me the individual attention my art needed. You may not find that at a larger university.
