Robert m Cox, EdD LCMHC (NC) LCAS (NC) LPC-MHP-S (TN) CCS CCMHC NCC ACS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at Pfeiffer University. Dr Cox directs the university counseling and wellness center, as well as teaches graduate and undergraduate counseling courses. He provides counseling, consulting, training, and supervision with professional interests that include crisis intervention, trauma-informed services, substance-affected families, justice-affected systems, clinical supervision, and the role of counselors in community organizing. Dr Cox is a 2013 NBCC Minority Scholars Fellow who believes in the power of giving back to the community. (updated 02 March 2022)
