Embracing Shared Values
Are you determined to live in a purposeful manner? Are you inspired by the concept of servant leadership?
Surround yourself with students and faculty on one of Pfeiffer’s close-knit campus communities devoted to Wesleyan values and personal growth.
The Francis Center for Servant Leadership and The Village Church on our Misenheimer campus embody our commitment to servant leadership and faith development.
The Francis Center for Servant Leadership was established in 1999 to reflect John Wesley's charge to love God and one another. By integrating service and academics, Pfeiffer hopes to inspire students to lead lives of meaningful work and service.
"Servant Leadership begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead. At its core, servant leadership is a long-term, transformational approach to life and work - in essence, a way of being that has the potential for creating positive change throughout our society."
~ Robert Greenleaf, founder, Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership
The Village Church
A student-run, United Methodist congregation, The Village Church is devoted to serving God and one another. The Village Church unites students from all religious traditions, including those who might be exploring faith for the first time. All students are welcome to worship, serve and grow with our congregation. Regardless of your religious tradition or experience, The Village Church supports your faith journey.
