Director of Alumni Affairs and University Events
Pfeiffer University is seeking an individual to serve as the Director of Alumni Affairs and University Events to serve and mobilize the alumni of Pfeiffer University while supporting event management at the University.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree and experience in event management and working with volunteers. Previous experience in higher education and event management is highly desired, and preference will be given to candidate with prior experience working with alumni groups.
Candidates should demonstrate clear dedication to the tenets of the Liberal Arts; exhibit a collegial, collaborative administrative style; be exceptional at managing details in a high-paced environment; be skilled at volunteer management and able to manage multiple tasks. The person will manage an active and engaged alumni board with various committees that advance the mission and vision of Pfeiffer University.
Pfeiffer University is a private, Liberal Arts University, affiliated with the United Methodist Church, whose mission is to prepare servant leaders for life-long learning. The main campus is located in Misenheimer, approximately 40 miles northeast of Charlotte, NC, with additional locations in Charlotte and the Raleigh area. This position will be based in Misenheimer.
