Assistant Director of Admissions for Marketing and Community Engagement
The Assistant Director of Admissions for Marketing and Community Engagement is a key member of the enrollment team with primary responsibility for the recruitment of new students, managing the recruitment funnel, and building external relationships. Under the guidance of the Director of Graduate Admissions, the AD tracks enrollment trends and communicates them in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to various constituents. Additionally, this position will identify potential external partners, be involved in community networking, and assist the Program Directors in cultivating relationships.
Assistant Director of Admissions/Campus Guest Coordinator
Pfeiffer University is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions/Campus Guest Coordinator to facilitate all prospective student and parent visits to the Misenheimer undergraduate campus. This position reports to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, and will ensure that all visitors to the Admissions area are provided with the warmest of welcomes. They will also ensure that all visitors leave with all the information needed to make an informed decision about attending Pfeiffer, and with the assurance that this is their best choice for undergraduate education. Duties also include student recruitment for the undergraduate degree programs on the Misenheimer campus which consist of the coordination of various public relation events, extensive outreach, ability to set and meet goals, and visits to high schools and churches.
Head Softball Coach
Pfeiffer University, a Division II member of the Conference Carolinas, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Softball Coach, to assume the head coaching role for an experienced team.
The Head Coach is responsible for administering all aspects of the softball program under his/her charge, including, but not limited to: planning; personnel training and supervision; fiscal management; practice and game supervision including scheduling and preparation; summer camps; fund-raising; recruiting; monitoring academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes; establishing public relations with support staff, community, media and alumni; and fulfilling other duties as they arise or as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Receptionist and Testing Coordinator/Charlotte
Pfeiffer University-Charlotte has an opening for the position of Receptionist/Testing Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Campus Director. Duties include answering all incoming general, admissions and financial aid phone calls, greeting all visitors in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner. Administer entrance, exit, MAT, DSST & CLEP testing for community and campus constituents. Assist Admissions and Student Services staff with data entry and perform a variety of other general administrative duties as needed.
Part-time Librarian- Charlotte Campus
The library at the Charlotte campus of Pfeiffer University has an opening for a Part-time Librarian. This individual will report to the Director of Information Support Services for the Charlotte campus. Duties include supervising the library during scheduled hours, assisting students and faculty in finding materials, checking in/out and shelving library materials, teaching research instruction sessions, serving as an embedded librarian in assigned courses, and other tasks as assigned by the director. The schedule consists of evening and rotating Saturday hours, up to 20 hours per week, and is slotted for a January, 2015 start date.
