Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Pfeiffer University, a Division II member of the Conference Carolinas, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Assistant Athletic Director for Scheduling and Transportation.
The Head Coach is responsible for administering all aspects of the lacrosse program under his/her charge, including, but not limited to: planning; personnel training and supervision; fiscal management; practice and game supervision including scheduling and preparation; summer camps; fund-raising; recruiting; monitoring academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes; establishing public relations with support staff, community, media and alumni; oversee all motor fleet travel for the University and athletic teams, and fulfilling other duties as they arise or as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Head Track & Field/Cross Country Coach

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to recruiting, personnel training and supervision, fiscal management, practice and meet supervision including scheduling and preparation, summer camps, fund-raising, monitoring academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes, establishing public relations with support staff, community, media and alumni, and fulfilling other duties as they arise or as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Help Desk Technician
Pfeiffer University has an immediate opening for a Help Desk Technician. The Help Desk Technician's role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.
This position will field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, web and e-mail in a courteous manner; document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. Successful candidates will have the ability to build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers; prioritize and schedule problems, escalating problems (as required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
Soccer- Graduate Assistant Opportunity
Pfeiffer University is now accepting applications for one (1) Graduate Assistant position for the Men's Soccer program. The position is a 2 year commitment with annual review. Benefits include full tuition during fall and spring semesters for Pfeiffer's Masters Programs.
Primary responsibilities as a Men's Soccer GA include, but are not limited to, assisting with all aspects of recruiting, monitoring of academic progress of student athletes, arranging travel and scheduling accommodations, training and preparing goalkeepers, and assisting with practice and game preparation, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Athletic Director or Men's Soccer coaching staff. Time commitment is maximum of 20 hours per week.
Director of Alumni Affairs and University Events
Pfeiffer University is seeking an individual to serve as the Director of Alumni Affairs and University Events to serve and mobilize the alumni of Pfeiffer University while supporting event management at the University.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree and experience in event management and working with volunteers. Previous experience in higher education and event management is highly desired, and preference will be given to candidate with prior experience working with alumni groups.
