The Grant Writer, a member of the Advancement team at Pfeiffer University, will be charged with increasing the support for Pfeiffer University’s mission and programs from foundations and corporate support. This position will work with faculty and program directors to become more engaged in supporting the efforts to build corporate partnerships and to participate in the process of securing grant income, developing and maintaining a growing list of foundations and corporations that will be approached for financial support.

Women's Basketball Coach

Pfeiffer University has an immediate opening for the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.  This position is responsible for all aspects of planning, developing, and coaching women’s basketball within the guidelines of the Conference Carolinas and NCAA Division II rules and regulations.  The selected individual will provide leadership and instruction in the personal, academic and athletic development of student athletes.

Additional responsibilities will include implementation of a recruiting program that is consistent with institutional, conference and NCAA rules; determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations, monitor and reconcile expenditures within budgeted funds;  promote the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program at Pfeiffer University, to include adhering to all departmental policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Conference and the NCAA;  in conjunction with the Director of Athletics, determine the awarding of athletic grant-in-aid  according to institutional, conference and NCAA rules; monitor scholastic performance of student athletes; and, oversee daily practices, planning and organizing season schedules that meet the institutional philosophy.

Pfeiffer University seeks to fill the position of Director of Internships and Career Development, to prepare students for future career success through training in resume preparation, interviewing skills, mentoring and internship opportunities.
