Asst./Assoc. Professor of MHA Program
Pfeiffer University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Administration, to teach courses in health administration at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The primary responsibility will be teaching courses in healthcare administration; student advising, and service to the department and the University. The normal teaching load is three courses per year, with possible assignments at the Charlotte and Raleigh campuses, at cohort locations throughout North Carolina, and in online formats. Potential assigned locations include Charlotte and/or Raleigh.
A Ph.D. in health administration or a related field, demonstrated experience in the healthcare field, and a commitment to the principles and practice of servant leadership in a church related university environment. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience teaching in a university setting, with a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
