Assistant Professor-Human Services
Pfeiffer University is currently seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Human Services in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Responsibilities include teaching and advising undergraduate students, curriculum/program development, and school and university faculty governance.
The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the Human Services major, but will be expected to cover several courses in the Psychology major as well. Requirements include a PhD in human services, psychology, social work, sociology or a mental health-related field (ABDs considered). Faculty members need to be both flexible in the courses that they teach and able to cover a broad range of classes.
Applicants should include information about courses taught and/or major and minor areas of specialization. Also required is a commitment to the principles and practice of servant leadership in a church related university environment.
