Asst/Assoc. Professor of Health Administration-Epidemiology
Pfeiffer University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Administration, to teach courses in epidemiology/population health at the undergraduate and graduate levels, reporting to the Director of Healthcare Programs. The primary responsibility will be teaching courses in epidemiology/population health and applied research with possible assignments at the Charlotte and Raleigh campuses, at cohort locations throughout North Carolina, and in online formats. Additional responsibilities include student advising and service to the department and the University.
A Ph.D. in Public Health and demonstrated experience in the healthcare field is required at time of appointment. Applicant should have a strong research interest in the area of health disparities and access to care for minority and underserved population groups. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience teaching in a university setting. Also required is a commitment to the principles and practice of servant leadership in a church-related university environment.
