Need to take a break from studying and release a little stress? Exercise is the perfect way to blow off some steam, and the fitness center is a great place to do it.
Knapp Fitness Center Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 9: 00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Faculty Hour: Monday - Friday 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
This hour is reserved for faculty and staff.
*Closed during holidays and student breaks
*Student or Faculty ID is required to be allowed to workout
The Knapp Fitness Center offers:
The main exercise room features two treadmills, two elliptical machines, two stationary bikes, a rowing machine, dumbbell weights, two smith machines and multiple weight machine stations to target every part of the body.
An additional fitness room is featured in the back of the facility that offers an Octagon Escape system that allows for CrossFit style exercises. The system offers ropes, a heavy bag, slam balls, and sandbags. The room also offers a pull-up station and TRX training straps. An additional two stationary bikes are located here as well.
The gymnasium offers two basketball goals, pickleball net, and indoor soccer goals. Basketballs, volleyballs, pickleball paddles and balls, and the indoor soccer ball can be rented by students and faculty (a Pfeiffer ID is required).
Student organizations may reserve the gym for club activities. It is recommended that 48-hour notice should be given to reserve the gym.
