Pfeiffer’s lecture halls boast small classrooms housed in historic buildings. Learning spaces are continually upgraded with the latest technology and amenities. We set the bar high.
- The Harris Science Building is equipped with the latest SMART Board products, facilitating real-time, interactive collaboration between students, professors and virtual guest lecturers. Pfeiffer's largest teaching and learning space has recently undergone renovations that enhance lecture hall comfort and functionality. The Harris Science Building houses the science, math and nursing departments, and math and science classrooms.
- Jane Freeman Hall was built in 1937 as a science building and faculty dormitory. Today this charming facility houses the programs of business, accounting and economics; languages, literature and writing; religion, philosophy and computer information systems; and history and political science.
- Crumbly Hall on Jane Freeman's second floor includes exceptional multimedia capabilities.
- The Merner Center, originally an industrial arts building, now houses the criminal justice, psychology and sociology programs.
Nursing Teaching & Learning Facilities (in Harris Science Building)
Get practical experience utilizing patient simulators and the cutting edge observation room, from which instructors facilitate realistic patient-care scenarios. Participate in virtual preparation prior to your clinical training.

Stokes Student Center
Eat, study or meet up with your favorite club or friends. Check out the dining hall, snack bar, college bookstore and TV lounge. The Student Center offers plenty of options in welcoming, well-equipped common spaces, all outfitted with Wi-Fi connectivity.
This is where you can find the Offices of Student Development; the Dean’s Office; Residence Life; Student Activities; the University Minister; and Student Government. Pfeiffer Health Services, the Counseling Center and the Career Services Center are in a wing of the Student Center.
Wick S. Sharp Learning Center
Wick S. Sharp Learning Center in Stokes Student Center provides academic support through programs that reinforce basic skills, supplement classroom instruction and improve academic performance.
G.A. Pfeiffer Library
The library houses five book stack levels, study carrels, a music listening room, a microforms viewing area, online computer databases, an online library catalog and Wi-Fi access. Four full-time librarians are available for research and reference assistance. Check out 24/7 resources at http://library.pfeiffer.edu.
