The evening began at the Gustavus Adolphus Pfeiffer Library where participants registered and said goodbye to their parents for the night. Following dinner in the cafeteria, a movie in Pfeiffer’s theater and games in the gymnasium, the kids were escorted back to the library.

“This year’s seniors exemplify the purpose of pursuing a liberal arts education, which is to take advantage of opportunities that will expand them in directions determined by their interests and propel them forward after graduation,” saidJoshua Cross, associate professor of art. “Art majors at Pfeiffer are required to participate in the senior exhibition while for minors it is suggested.

In addition to the individual honors earned by Pfeiffer students, the chapter was awarded the North Carolina Gold Star Chapter Award and the Terry Lowrance Leadership Award, which recognizes outstanding local chapters that have actively participated in Phi Beta Lambda state and national conferences, projects, programs and publicity/membership activities throughout the year.

Throughout his career, he has worked as radio and television “Voice of the Maine Guides,” a triple-A baseball club as well as broadcast several games for Fox Sports; he is the only non-official to be inducted into the Atlantic Coast Conference Football Officials Association.
