For the ninth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Pfeiffer University among the Best Universities in the South. The yearly report ranks colleges and universities from across and country and by regions.

U.S. News & World Report produces annual rankings that focus on academic excellence, with schools considered on up to 15 measures of academic quality. The factor receiving the most weight in this regard is student outcomes, including graduation and retention rates. The magazine publishes these rankings every year to help students worldwide compare the academic quality of more than 1,800 U.S.-based schools.

“We are proud once again to be recognized as a high-achieving academic institution in our region,” said Dr. Tracy Y. Espy, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “Pfeiffer University’s innovative curriculum focused on personal mentorship, along with our 12-to-1 student-faculty ratio, allow us to provide a quality education that continues to be recognized year after year.”
