Why Pfeiffer

As Allison Lindsey '18 anxiously awaits word on what medical schools she will be admitted to for Fall 2018, she has received word that her creativity has been recognized. As a contributor to The Phoenix, Pfeiffer University’s literary publication, Ms. Lindsey won second place for Photography and Artwork for her photograph "Blue Ponchos" from the North Carolina College Media Association. The photograph is included in Issue 58 of The Phoenix.

Ms. Lindsey, a senior biology major, Milton Rose Scholar and honors student from Winter Park, FL, is a member of the Pfeiffer swim team, past president of the Criminal Justice Society and currently completing work on her senior honors project titled Postmorten Protein Degradation As A Tool for Estimating Time of Death in Forensic Cases. Her long term career goal is to become a medical examiner.
