Pfeiffer University has been named by BestValuleSchools.com as a Best Value Small College for Environmental Science. http://www.bestvalueschools.com/small-colleges/environmental-science/
Pfeiffer, which ranked third overall, was recognized in part for offering both a bachelor of science in environmental science and bachelor of arts in environmental studies. To be considered, a college or university must offer at least three relevant programs for students seeking a bachelor’s degree as well as demonstrate a genuine commitment to affordable education. Using the NCES College Navigator database and program research, schools were then ranked based on academic depth, student support and affordability.
“Pfeiffer’s commitment to science as a fundamental discipline of the liberal arts is evident in the success of our graduates,” said Dr. Tracy Espy, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “Whether they choose scientific careers or those that are more broadly science-based, they leave Pfeiffer with a wide range of options for entering graduate programs and the workforce.”
