Amber Briggs

Delta Mu Delta has named Amber Nicole Briggs as the recipient of the 2019 Delta Mu Delta Regional Award and a $500 scholarship. Briggs', who at the end of her Junior year, had a GPA of 3.91 accepted an invitation to join the Omicron Eta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta (DMD) – Pfeiffer Chapter in May 2019.

Pfeiffer University mourns the loss of former director of admissions Elsie Lowder, who died June 30, 2019, at the age of 82. Joining the Pfeiffer community in 1981, Elsie eventually turned her focus to transfer and commuter students, as well as international students. She co-founded Pfeiffer’s Commuter Student Association, before retiring in 2003 as director of transfer admissions.
