The university has approximately 80 outstanding nationally-recruited faculty, many who hold doctorates or other terminal degrees in their teaching fields. While their primary focus is on instruction and preparing servant leaders for lifelong learning, the faculty are also engaged in significant scholarly, creative, and public service initiatives. Pfeiffer seeks professors who value and contribute to students' intellectual and emotional growth. Student Life
With three campuses, "campus life" at Pfeiffer has several meanings.
At our residential undergraduate campus in Misenheimer, students live, learn, work, worship and play with the support of Pfeiffer faculty and Student Development professionals. Student clubs and organizations, honor societies, work-study, and Falcons athletics supplement a challenging academic life, providing an enriching learning and living experience.
In Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, with class schedules designed to fit the needs of working adults, students are on campus typically in the evenings after the workday. Each of these campuses offers space for students to meet informally, share a meal and use the library or computer lab. Students have opportunities to meet with their professors, engage in professional societies and organizations that provide activities and projects that enhance their learning experience and enhance their careers.

Graduate Academics

Pfeiffer University has continually grown in academic excellence, developing new programs to meet the needs of its students. The first graduate program began in 1985 with an MBA curriculum, followed by a Master of Christian Education in 1989 and a joint MBA/MHA program in 1993.
Today Pfeiffer continues to provide flexible and afforable graduate programs by offering Master's-Level Degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA), Organizational Leadership & Change (MSL), Elementary Education (MSEE and MAT-SPED), Practical Theology (MAPT) and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). Joint degree offerings include MBA/MSL, MBA/MHA, and MHA/MSL.
Program offerings differ based upon your campus. Our Charlotte campus offers all degree pursuits. Our Raleigh-Durham campus and Online curriculums are limited to the MBA, MHA and MSL degrees and the MBA/MSL, MBA/MHA, and MHA/MSL joint degrees. Also, the Triangle campus began offering the MFT degree in Fall 2011.

Pfeiffer University offers a comprehensive liberal arts experience for students at its traditional undergraduate campus in Misenheimer, N.C. Located in Stanly County, 45 minutes east of Charlotte, and one hour southwest of Greensboro, Pfeiffer offers quick access to Albemarle, Asheboro, Concord, Mint Hill and Salisbury for work, play and internships.

Students possessing some undergraduate credit hours may complete bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Health Administration, Criminal Justice, Human Relations and Interdisciplinary Studies. In keeping with Pfeiffer’s longstanding tradition of servant leadership, the Center for Professional Advancement also offers a variety of courses and workshops that help participants learn or upgrade their skills or build knowledge to meet the demands of their professions.
