Please forward documents only after the application and application fee have been submitted:

• Bachelor's degree with 9-12 hours of coursework in the social sciences
• Minimum undergraduate GPA in major: 3.00, overall: 2.75
• Acceptable GRE scores: official scores mailed to Pfeiffer University
• Official transcripts sent from all colleges/universities attended
• (3) letters of recommendation written on official letterhead & respective recommendation form, including one from a recent employer and two from academic professionals/instructors attesting to your ability
• A writing sample describing how you anticipate that your degree and experiential training will influence your personal and professional goals
• Resume or vitae
• Personal small group interview with Admissions Committee approval
• Proof of satisfactory criminal background record check for all states of residence for the past (5) years

Admission Deadlines

Charlotte Campus

• For applicants wishing to begin during the summer or fall semester, the deadline is February 15.
• For applicants wishing to begin only during the fall semester, the deadline is April 15.
• Applications received after the priority deadline will require the applicable late fee and will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
• Should applicants miss a deadline, please ask about our visiting student status.

• For applicants wishing to begin during the summer or fall semester, the deadline is March 15.
• For applicants wishing to begin only during the fall semester, the deadline is May 15.
• For applicants wishing to begin during the spring semester, the deadline is October 15.

You may submit items separately, or mail in one envelope.

• Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Admission Application
• Non-refundable $75 application fee; $25 late application fee (money order)
• Official transcripts in unopened envelopes mailed directly from each college/university attended
• Official GRE scores mailed directly to Pfeiffer University
• Recommendation letters on official letterhead and recommendation forms in sealed envelopes with respective signature signed across each flap. Recommendation letters must be written by someone you know who has been in an administrative or faculty position to evaluate you
• Writing sample which clearly describes how your degree and experiential training will influence your personal and professional goals
• Resume or vitae
