Pfeiffer Music StudentsComing fall 2014 pending SACS approval

The vision of Pfeiffer University encourages students to embrace the Christian values of human dignity, integrity, and service as they become servant leaders and lifelong learners.

Through music and the arts, we affirm the university's mission to foster the development of the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.

Music Studies is a liberal arts degree for students with a vocational interest in music. Majors are encouraged to combine music studies with another major or minor such as business, communication, psychology, or history. The program seeks to build musical knowledge and skills in the context of a well-rounded liberal arts education with a focus on forming and building community involvement in music. Music Studies majors can expect to be involved in private lessons, ensembles, theatrical productions, concerts, church music activities, performance tours, program planning, public relations, interdisciplinary projects, and community outreach and service. The program is open to students with all levels of musical background.
