Pfeiffer Institute clinics in Charlotte and Raleigh to offer free mental health screenings Oct. 7-12

The counseling service of Pfeiffer University's Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program is offering free mental health screenings and initial counseling sessions Oct. 7-12 in Charlotte and Raleigh to coincide with National Depression Screening Day on Thurs., Oct. 10.
The Pfeiffer Institute in Charlotte is located at 4805 Park Road in the SouthPark neighborhood; its Raleigh counterpart, Pfeiffer Institute Reach, is located at 600 Airport Road, Suite 600, Morrisville.
"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated one in ten adults in the U.S. reports depression,"said Dr. Susan Wilkie, LPC LMFT, AAMFT-approved/LPC supervisor and director of Pfeiffer's MFT program. "Mental health is an issue that affects many people in our community, and Pfeiffer Institute Reach is equipped to provide assistance to anyone in need."
