Today’s International Fair—which featured food, traditional costumes, photos and experts from countries as far and wide as Greece, Colombia, Korea, Thailand, Scotland, Germany, Russia and more—attracted more than 100 students and faculty and staff members from Pfeiffer’s Misenheimer and Charlotte campuses
The event, designed to promote international and study abroad programs as well as provide a way to actively appreciate the diversity among Pfeiffer students and staff, prompted enthusiastic response from those who participated. Comments ranged from “The food is awesome,” to “I’m so glad to be able to share my experience studying in Europe.”
The International Fair took place during Pfeiffer’s weekly cultural hour on Friday morning. Students who participated received cultural credit when their event “passport” was stamped at 10 different booths. It was organized by Rebecca Hraczo, coordinator, International Student/Scholar Programs, and Dr. Philip –Wingeier-Rayo, associate professor of Religion.
