Pfeiffer University hosts Sunday Night Alive events for youth groups

This fall, Pfeiffer University is bringing back its popular monthly Sunday Night Alive series for middle and high school youth groups on its Misenheimer campus (48380 Hwy 52N). All events, sponsored by the Village Church, are open to all youth groups, regardless of denomination.
“Middle and high school students are invited to campus so they can experience quality ministry programing and learn more about Pfeiffer and campus life,” said Rev. Sherri Barnes, Pfeiffer’s associate director of university and church relations. “The program is a win-win. Pfeiffer has a chance to share information and its campus resources with the community while small-membership churches and other groups can offer interesting programs and experiences for their membership.”
Events offered for fall 2012 include:
Aug. 19 / 6 p.m.
Series Kick off
Concert: Ohio Avenue
Henry Pfeiffer Chapel
Sept. 16 / 6 p.m.
Swimming and a movie
Merner Gymnasium Pool
Oct. 21 / 6 p.m.
Zombie Hunt at the Lake
Additional information will be available soon regarding a Thanksgiving project in November in conjunction with Hunger and Homelessness, an intramural sports night in January, participation in the 30-Hour Famine in February and a series-concluding concert in April.
