During March, Pfeiffer University features ARTS ALIVE!, an exhibition that welcomes four visiting artists and their works to its Misenheimer campus. Supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, the exhibition offers the opportunity for students and community members to not only view the works of the visiting artists but also participate in lectures and workshops led by them.
“ARTS ALIVE! gives participants an opportunity to experience firsthand the creativity of several North Carolina artists and gain appreciation for their art forms,” said Josh Cross, associate professor of art and gallery director. “Equally exciting is the chance for people of all talent and experience levels to create art alongside them.”
All events are free and open to the public. The gallery in Goode Hall at Pfeiffer University is open Mon.-Fri., 11 a.m.-4 p.m. ARTS ALIVE! lectures and workshops will be held in the gallery from 2-4 p.m. on the following dates:
