There is an opportunity to travel to the Amazon to support Shade and Fresh Water, a ministry of the Methodist Church that serves at-risk children ages 6-14. In addition to working with the children, participants will build a roof on their classroom space. The trip will be from June 6-18, 2013 and will cost $2,200. This price includes air fare, visa, three meals a day, hotel and local transportation.

There are a maximum of 15 spaces and applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Also, please include a $100 deposit made out to Pfeiffer University. Download this application here or from the Western North Carolina Conference website.
