Tuesday November 17th:
4:00-6:00 NE Lefko Field Pfeiffer Men’s and Women’s Soccer Game with Street Soccer 945
Street Soccer 945 is Charlotte soccer team which is part of a nationally based homeless soccer group who fights homelessness and social justice issues with soccer.
6:00-7:00 Cafeteria Dinner and Dialogue with Street Soccer 945
An opportunity to engage with this unique group of athletes and their coaches as they eat dinner with students and discuss their experiences with homelessness and sports
Wednesday November 18th:10:00 Chapel Service Worship experience with Catie Smith and Fall Break Mission Trip 6:30-7:30 Blue Room Dr. Laura Stivers Discusses Homelessness and Affordable Housing
Join Dr. Stivers as she discusses her research on and experience working with homelessness in and interactive workshop
Thursday November 19th:6:00-7:30 Community Room Oxfam Hunger Banquet
Pfeiffer University with the help of Sodexo will be hosting an Oxfam Hunger Banquet. This interactive dinning experience is intended to raise awareness surrounding world hunger and poverty.
Friday November 20th:
8:00-7:00 AM Saturday Stokes Student Center Front Lawn Box City Sleep Out-Featuring the Faces of Homelessness Panel
Box City is an opportunity for students to experience homelessness for a night as they sleep out in card board boxes. The evening will include activities and events to raise awareness including the Faces of Homelessness Panel from Washington DC and a screening of the Pursuit of Happyness.
