Paul Leonard served Habitat for Humanity International as chief executive officer in 2004-2005, managing its global house-building ministry. Prior to becoming CEO, he worked as the organization's managing director, making a commitment of two years of full-time service at Habitat's headquarters in Americus, Ga., to help the organization plan for the future.
A retired real estate executive and constructive industry executive, Presbyterian minister and longtime Habitat for Humanity volunteer, Mr. Leonard was honored in 2009 by the Charlotte Coalition for Social Justice as the recipient of its Humanitarian Award.
