As part of Servant Leadership Week, as well as in relation to the speaker from the Freedom Writers Foundation earlier in the week, the Francis Center will be showing the 2007 film "Freedom Writers." The film depicts a new teacher using revolutionary methods in a poor L.A. school to get her students, most of whom are from minority groups and low-income families, to succeed in her class, graduate, and be successful in the world.
