Pfeiffer’s visual communication is an inter-disciplinary program that brings together the creative beauty of studio art and the strategic message-construction of communication. Learn how to utilize the latest multimedia tools to create advertisements, brochures, posters, and other publication forms. Upon graduation, visual communication majors possess strong skills in graphic design, marketing, photography, digital art, media production, and web design.

Visual communication careers include web design, graphic design, marketing, media development, advertising, and sales. The skills from this program are invaluable in today’s digital world and are highly sought in a large number of different industries.

The undergraduate communications program, in the division of arts and sciences, is available at the Misenheimer campus. Take advantage of opportunities for practical experience through internships at TV and radio stations, newspapers, corporations and nonprofit organizations.
