Pfeiffer’s undergraduate comprehensive science education program, in the division of education, is available at the Misenheimer campus. Participate in the School of Education Majors Club for valuable networking opportunities.
The comprehensive science education program curriculum requires a minimum investment of 89 semester hours (SH). This breaks down into 51 semester hours in your concentration of choice and 38 semester hours in the required education minor. Concentration choices are biology or chemistry.
Requirements for Teacher Candidates in the Comprehensive Science Education Major
Teacher candidates in the comprehensive science education major must complete a concentration in either biology or chemistry. The exact sequence of the courses in the concentration is determined by the academic advisor and the teacher candidate.
