The Village Church Celebrates First Infant Baptism
On Wed., April 11, The Village Church celebrated Dax Denton’s baptism, the first infant baptism on record. Dax is the son of Sarah Denton, coordinator of student organizations and ministries and Elijah Denton, head women’s soccer coach. Pastors Dana McKim and Sherri Barns presided over the ceremony.
Making a Difference Around the World
On Aug. 24, The Village Church hosted a sendoff celebration for newly-commissioned mission interns and recent Pfeiffer graduates Nick Haigler, Joy Prim and Alex Devoid. Each holds a bachelor’s degree from Pfeiffer University and will be working in the missionary field domestically and abroad as part of Global Ministries, the global missions agency of the United Methodist Church.
