Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors, a select group of Pfeiffer students who represent and promote the University on and off the Misenheimer campus at special events and professional gatherings, are available to give campus tours to prospective students. They are chosen for their academic achievement and commitment to serving Pfeiffer.

Exercise Science

Jennifer is a freshman from Yadkin County, NC and a member of the women’s soccer team.  She plans on attending a medical program upon graduation from Pfeiffer to become a Physical Therapist.

“I knew I wanted to come to Pfeiffer after my very first visit here. I fell in love with the little school and friendly people. Here at Pfeiffer, I am not seen as just another student, but as a valued young adult. The teachers I work with, the friends I have met, and the mentors that care for me, make my experience here at Pfeiffer incredible."

Pre-Law/Finance

Dillon Edwards was born in San Diego, Calif., but was raised in Statesville, NC. He is a pre-law and finance major and the CO-President of Pfeiffer Pfury. He played soccer during his first two years at Pfeiffer, but now runs cross country. His goal is become a lawyer and own his own firm one day.

Exercise Science
Greensboro, N.C.

Cade is an exercise science major, Quad Director for Residence Life and a member of the men's basketball team. He's from Greensboro, N.C., and intends to become a physical therapist after he completes graduate school. Cade has a passion for people and feels this will transcend into the physical therapy field.

Nick is a sophomore this year and is very involved on campus. He is the treasurer for the Student Government Association, sports chaplain, peer ministries head tech coordinator, peer mentor, ambassador, CAB volunteer, Pfury member and soccer player. He plans to earn a degree in computer information systems and then attend graduate school.

Human Services

Taylor is on the women's tennis team and is also a resident assistant. She originally chose Pfeiffer because she was recruited for tennis, but soon fell in love with many aspects of the university. The small school environment made her feel like she was at home.

"There's no other place I could imagine myself. My goals in life are to go to graduate school and open an orphanage in Africa. I want to help as many people that I can in my lifetime."

Carmella transferred to Pfeiffer from Davidson County Community College in hopes of being accepted into Pfeiffer's nursing program. She is focused on helping people and likes to make others smile. She is eager to join many other clubs in the near future. What she likes most about Pfeiffer is that she still feels like she is part of the “Pfeiffer Pfamily” even though she is a commuter.

Shea is a junior this year and loves to stay active on campus. Aside from being a member of the women’s lacrosse team she is also Editor and Chief of the campus newspaper, president of SAAC, an ambassador, and a peer mentor. After earning her degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and a minor in Creative Writing, Shea plans to further her education in graduate school.

"I loved the family feel that I got when visiting Pfeiffer; it was so much more than just a school. When looking at colleges I didn’t just want to go to any school for four years, I wanted somewhere that I could not only get an education but also make my home. I found that here at Pfeiffer."

Val, originally from Ecuador, is a sophomore at Pfeiffer majoring in Psychology.  Her academic goals include attending graduate school and earning her PhD.

"I want to own a hospital or physician's office one day to help patients. I came to Pfeiffer because of athletics, but my experience as a student has been great, and I love it here. The people make me feel like I am at home and that makes Pfeiffer a great place to study."

Bianca hopes to go on to medical school and become a general physician or possibly pursue a career as an environmentalist. Apart from being a student ambassador, she is also a Milton rose Scholar, a member of the women's soccer team and a representative for SAAC.

Sebastian was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to an Italian mother and German father. Additionally, he has one brother who lives in Germany and an uncle in Japan. With a variety of cultural influences surrounding him, he definitely has some different stories to tell.

Majoring in medicine and biology, he values the personal contact he receives from his teachers at Pfeiffer. He competes for the tennis team, with a goal of one day competing on the ATP World Tour. He has his set goals and will not lay his eyes off them. Also involved in SAAC, Pfeiffer Pfury and is a Sports Chaplain. He lives by "Give it your all or don't give it at all."

I double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology at Pfeiffer University - Misenheimer, where I also played volleyball and softball for two years. I worked for three years at a Logistics firm after Undergrad until I realized my true calling in life was to work in a selfless field and become a therapist. I am currently working through my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and loving every minute of it. I am part of the MFT GSA and Delta Kappa (MFT Honorary Society), as well as this Student Ambassador Program.
