Black and Gold Experience
The Black and Gold Experience at Pfeiffer is a helpful part of the college search. It gives you a chance to see campus and live in the residence halls. In addition, it will give you a look at life outside of university business hours. An overnight experience can be instrumental in connecting with current Pfeiffer students, and it will give you a closer look behind the screen.
You will arrive on campus at 4 p.m. to check-in for your visit. You will engage with Pfeiffer Students on campus and stay overnight with an Ambassador host. This unique experience is available exclusively for high school juniors and seniors and provides a sneak peek at life as a Falcon.
Plan Your Visit
Now that you have scheduled your visit to Pfeiffer, please plan to experience the surrounding area while you're in town. Misenheimer, a picturesque community located in North Carolina's Piedmont region, is near the conveniences of city and outdoor life.
Pfeiffer is only 15 minutes from the city of Albemarle, 20 minutes from I-85, 40 minutes from Uwharrie National Forest, and one hour from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

What to Expect During Your Visit
All of our campus visit appointments include a campus tour with a current student and an individual meeting with an admissions counselor. Other options while on campus are as follows:
- 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. You have the option to visit a class, meet a professor, dine in an on-campus eatery (on us!), or go on a campus tour.
Just make a note in your request of which activities you would like to add to your tour and time with an admissions counselor.
