Program Assessments and Surveys

Distribution of MMFT Program Assessments & Surveys:  Program Feedback

Stakeholder Feedback (Program Survey) -- 1st Routing in May 2011-2012 (every two years) – 2nd Routing in May 2013-2014 -- 3rd Routing in May 2015-2016. Results will be addressed at the August Faculty Team Meeting with reasonable and necessary modifications to curriculum/ teaching-learning practices. 

Alumni Feedback (Program Survey) – 1st Routing in June 2011-2012 to graduates (every two years post-degree) -- 2nd Routing in May 2013-2014 -- 3rd Routing in May 2015-2016.  Results will be addressed at the August Team Meeting with reasonable and necessary modifications to curriculum/teaching-learning practices.

Employer Feedback (Program Survey) – 1st Routing in June 2012-2013 (every three years) --  2nd Routing in June 2015-2016 – 3rd Routing in June 2018-2019. Results will be addressed at the August Team Meeting with reasonable and necessary modifications to curriculum/teaching-learning practices.

IDEA Diagnostic Form Report (Faculty Classroom Electronic Evaluations) –

Per course every semester.  Evaluation of teaching and course effectiveness from individual classes is useful to guide professor improvement efforts.  Faculty members strive to reach minimum overall ratings of 70% or 3.5 on a 5-point scale for “Excellent Teacher,” “Excellent Course,” and “Summary Evaluation.” Faculty members strive for a summary score of 3.75 for his/her second year, and a minimum score of 4.0 by his/her third year of teaching at Pfeiffer.

Program Director/Site Director/Clinic Directors  Evaluation (Annual Program Survey) – Annually by mid- January. 12-month full-time MMFT Administrators are reviewed to reaffirm that they are academically, professionally, and experientially qualified to achieve the educational outcomes of the program.  Administrators strive to reach a minimum score of “4.0 out of 5” for each trait/attribute.

Student Feedback (Annual Program Survey) – Annually in early February.  Educational Outcomes are reviewed at MMFT Faculty Team Meeting in February during intensive program work retreat and reasonable and necessary modifications are proposed for implementation in August for the following academic year.

Student Support Services Satisfaction Survey (Annual Survey) – Annually in May.  Student Support Services Offices and Personnel are reviewed to better meet the needs and interests of students, and help motivate students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education.  Student Support Services are expected to reach a minimum score of 3.0 for each area of assessment.

Graduation Exit Interview (Electronic) – Distributed to every student during his/her last semester of enrollment just prior to Graduation in December, May, or August.  Results are addressed at each Exit Interview with the graduates to clarify any reasonable modifications to curriculum/teaching-learning practices.  During the annual Faculty Conference Week in August, the Faculty Team reviews the responses and determines those program recommendations that could be beneficial to students for the following academic year.

Institutional Planning/Faculty Goals, Assessment, & Evaluation – August Team Meeting (every year).  Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are assessed annually by May 1st and submitted to Institutional Planning Electronic Template.  Program goals are reviewed at the August Faculty Team Meeting during Faculty Conference Week and revised for the new academic year as voted. Faculty goals from the previous academic year (Self-Assessments) are submitted by September 12th to Program Director -- Directors submit faculty evaluations to Dean by October 8th. Faculty goals for the new academic year are developed and submitted by September 25th.

5-Year Program Review (formal) – Year 5 post-accreditation.  A formal Program Review and self-study for the Charlotte Campus branch accreditation renewal will begin in August 2013 for submission on November 1, 2014.  Renewal date is November, 2015.  Current (3)-Year renewal date for the Raleigh/Durham Campus branch is scheduled for May, 2017.
