Welcome to Student Life

dr sharplesWelcome to Student Life at Pfeiffer!

An important factor to your academic success in college and at Pfeiffer is to find something outside the classroom to connect with, enjoy and apply to your everyday life.

The Office of Student Development is here to provide students with meaningful opportunities to live, learn, worship and serve as you develop into leaders prepared to make a difference in the world. Through a holistic approach that addresses your physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual and academic needs and capacities, we help you become who and what you are meant to be.

Clubs, student and academic organizations, intramurals, and community and world service are just some of the ways you can connect with Pfeiffer and your fellow students. Do you have an interest that doesn't match the clubs or organizations on campus? Start one!  We'll help you get the process in motion.

We measure our success by yours. Call us, email or send us a Facebook message, or stop by our office. And we are eager to work with you and help set you on the path toward achieving your goals.

Testimonials

Testimonials

Rick Rogers:
Major life changes pointed me in a new direction and Pfeiffer helped every step of the way. Small classes and one-on-one attention have made all the difference. I'm much more than a number here; my professors really want me to succeed.

Yolanda Bynum:
Although I had been in my profession for eight years when I returned to school, I learned something new in every class and put what I learned into practice right away. The connections I made and skills I gained are invaluable to my career success-today and in the future.

Sherry Waters:
The small class size; the intentionality that the instructors discern the texts, resources and syllabi outlines; and the practical learning that I've received has more than prepared and empowered me to move forward in my second career path.

Britney Phifer '12 Testimonial:
"I truly enjoy the atmosphere of service and collaboration among students and professors at Pfeiffer, and am passionate about sharing my experiences with professionals, prospective students, and members of the Charlotte community. Assisting others to acknowledge their full potential and achieve their professional and personal goals is something very close to my heart, and Pfeiffer is a great place to start."
