Admissions Hosts 162 Accepted Students on the Misenheimer Campus
On Sat. April 24, Pfeiffer University’s Office of Admissions hosted Accepted Student Day on the Misenheimer Campus. This event is designed to provide accepted students the opportunity to meet with an advisor, register for classes, tour the residence halls and visit with representatives from financial aid and other offices.
The day began with a welcome message from President Michael Miller, Dana McKim, minister to the university and Sherri Barnes, associate director of university and church relations. Students then met with an advisor in their intended field of study, toured the residence halls and ate lunch in the cafeteria with members of the alumni association.
“This was the most well-attended Accepted Student Day to date with 162 accepted students present,” said Terry Jeffries, director of undergraduate admissions. “Each department at the University put forth a great effort to make this event a success.”
