Pfeiffer University is pleased to announce that plans for Homecoming 2012, which will take place Sept. 28-30, are now underway.
Earlier this year, the Advancement Office sponsored a contest that allowed students to submit their theme ideas. I CARE ABOUT PFEIFFER BECAUSE…, submitted by senior Brad Kenn, was selected as the winning theme.
“Homecoming 2012 will be a celebration of what makes Pfeiffer special to all of us—faculty, staff, alumni, current students and future students. Our weekend will be representative of that sentiment by showcasing ICARE projects and the progress made all year,” said Laura Hill, coordinator of alumni events and advancement services.
The ICARE (Curb Appeal Restoration and Enhancement) campaign began in Aug. 2011 and provides opportunities to support a variety of campus improvements, from window replacement to exterior painting projects.
There will be a wide array of entertainment for attendees to enjoy including The Real Clays, Pfeiffer Pfunk, The Double Play Band and Jerry Frazee, caricature artist along with the alumni silent auction and athletic events.
The Office of Advancement will continue to release new details of this event as they become available. Please direct any questions to Laura Hill at (704) 463-3034 and check out the special Homecoming sections of our websites and Facebook page as they become available.
