Two New Pfeiffer Programs Invite Prospective Students to Campus and Into the Classroom

Pfeiffer’s Office of Admissions is offering prospective students new programs that allow them to experience Pfeiffer at two of its campuses—Overnight Experience at the Misenheimer campus and Test Drive Pfeiffer in Charlotte.

Overnight Experience is designed to provide high school juniors and seniors l an opportunity to participate in all aspects of campus life. After arriving on campus in the afternoon, they engage with current Pfeiffer students, stay overnight in a residence hall with a student ambassador host and attend classes the next day.

Terry Jeffries, director of undergraduate admissions describes this program as, “a unique experience that offers an opportunity to connect with current Pfeiffer students as well as a sneak peek into life as a Falcon.”

Potential adult studies and graduate students have a similar opportunity in Charlotte to preview classes with Test Drive Charlotte. Before deciding to enroll, those interested may sit in on a variety of courses from both programs, including public speaking and organizational behavior at the undergraduate level and microfinance and crisis intervention at the graduate level.

“Inviting prospective students into the classroom gives them a first-hand glimpse at the innovative instruction of our dynamic faculty,” said Jonathan Beam, director of graduate admissions. “If they get a taste of the quality education that Pfeiffer offers, we are certain they’ll want to apply for the total experience.”
